GIAHC and the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to initiate a pilot program on HPV DNA self-sampling and using mHealth to increase the uptake of cervical cancer screening in that country. Malaysia is a multicultural country that introduced a school-based HPV vaccination program in 2010. This study will throw light on the merits and barriers to such an approach and pave way for possible adoption of this strategy for a future countrywide rollout.
