At the Women Deliver (WD) conference, held June 3-6, 2019, GIAHC participated in the World Health Organization (WHO) event, Every Country Can Eliminate Cervical Cancer.

The event focused on mobilizing a women’s movement, putting this on the development agenda and driving national action towards 2030 targets that save lives and put all countries on a pathway of impact. The event included discussion of prevention, early detection and management of cervical cancer; brainstorming on building integrated, women-centered services; and sharing experiences on reaching all girls and women.

The event also featured a prize related to the UN Walk the Talk event in New York City in September.
