GIAHC marks World Cancer Day: Raising funds for Kenya for Cervical Screening

At the World Health Assembly on May 23, 2025, the WHO declared November 17th as the World Cervical Cancer Elimination Day. In order to mark the significance of this day, GIAHC Young leaders will raise funds to help with HPV education in 6 schools in Malawi.

The July installment of the GHC Partner Meeting Series featured our young leaders, Ariana and McKenna—and Wambui from Women Empowering Nations (WEN).

GIAHC proudly partnered with HPVCA for the second year on the Healthy Youth, Healthy Future 2025 initiative, empowering teen advocates to promote HPV vaccination during meetings with lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

GIAHC, in collaboration with CAPED and PHRII (India), and with support from CAPI (USA), is proud to introduce a new video series on HPV vaccination designed to educate parents.

This April, our young leaders will host a workshop at the inaugural National HPV Conference. We’re honored to serve on the planning committee for this groundbreaking U.S. event.

On March 4, 2025, GIAHC marked IHAD with global partners, including PHRII, who joined a high-level meeting during the event.

In February 2025, GIAHC signed an MoU with Karakinos Healthcare to support cervical cancer elimination efforts nationwide.
