Our partnership with the Christian Medical College in Vellore continues to get stronger and better. Women continue to be screened with household vinegar (VIA) and treated with cryotherapy (freezing of the cervix). A dedicated Monday clinic has been introduced to take care of the VIA-positive women. In addition, women who already have advanced cancer but are reluctant to go through treatment are being counseled. Several such women are grateful that they followed up with the clinic and have received treatment.
